Royal Collection Trust

Established in 1987, Royal Collection Trust is responsible for the care of the Royal Collection and the public opening of the official residences of Her Majesty The Queen including Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. Aspects of the Royal Collection are explored through exhibitions, publications and a varied learning programme to ensure that as much of the Collection can be enjoyed by the public and that the works of art can be understood and interpreted in engaging contexts.
The South Asian works of art in the Royal Collection include some of the most important and well-preserved examples in the world.  In 2018, Royal Collection Trust will be showcasing for the first time the breadth and depth of this superb collection in two exhibitions at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, under the joint title of Splendours of the Subcontinent.
We are thrilled to support the delivery of Royal Collection Trust’s learning programme which will accompany their Splendours of the Subcontinent exhibition. This important work will increase access and widen participation to the South Asian works of art in the Royal Collection through a series of coordinated events and workshops for families, disadvantaged groups and underrepresented communities.
